'Xonotic player interview: Edong23' Oct 30, 2010 Here’s another Xonotic player interview for your viewing pleasure! This one is with a regular on the HOCTF scene: Edong23. We talk about his affection for the laser, the servers he operates, and his views on the upcoming Xonotic release. What I really appreciate in this interview (among the others I’ve done) is his candor. I really like the honesty I’m seeing in this community, because so much depends on transparency! ...
'Xonotic player interview: kojn' Oct 29, 2010 Here is my latest interview. It is with an advanced dueler from Great Britain: kojn. Enjoy!

Hairball Oct 27, 2010 If you reach under the couch you never know what you might find! Thanks for the gift, Sandie.
Harper's Ferry Oct 27, 2010 Since we didn’t get the chance to go to Harper’s Ferry last week, the family and I went this past Saturday. We set our course to West Virginia via VA Rt. 15 North after stopping at a local farmer’s market (mmm, fresh eggplant!). The weather was perfect when we got there, and the teeny town was bustling with people. Even though most of them were tourists, it was still nice to grab a day outside with the family amongst the general commotion - we strapped Layla onto our chest carrier and walked around the town for about 3 hours. ...
'Xonotic Player Interview: Mirio' Oct 26, 2010 Hi folks! Here I am again with another player interview. This time I’m talking with Mirio, a German player and a member of the BOT team. I hope you enjoy!
'Xonotic Player Interview: chooksta' Oct 23, 2010 I am happy to announce the first (of many, hopefully) player interviews, where you can hear players respond to my questions while you watch a sample of their actual gameplay. In this one I talk with chooksta, who is known to all of us in the Xonotic community as both a nice guy and a talented musician. We talk about how he first came to play the game, his music, and what he’s looking forward to in Xonotic. ...
Enabling ClearType on Windows XP Pro Oct 22, 2010 Until recently I hadn’t noticed the poor state of affairs in font rendering for XP (at least by default). I began to notice when I was implementing a new font for this website - the site just looked weird when viewed in XP. No matter which browser I tried (IE, Firefox, and Chrome), the body text ended up looking both blocky and blurred at the same time! It was obviously something OS-specific, otherwise I would have seen different behavior when I switched browsers (or it would look equally horrible in both Linux and Windows), but what was it? ...
360-degree view of Antietam Battlefield Oct 20, 2010 I forgot all about the video that I took when we went to Antietam this past weekend. Here it is! This was taken with my Motorola Droid, so it isn't the best. I hope you enjoy:
Panoramas from Shepherdstown and Antietam Oct 18, 2010 Here are the panoramas that I mentioned yesterday. They were all assembled from multiple photos of the given location, then stitched together using software (about which I’ll have to write a post). Click on the images to see a bigger version. First up is one of the main buildings of Shepherd University. Situated right near the downtown area of Shepherdstown, it attracted all manner of people and dogs. Very cool! ...
